What to Bring

Don't have snowshoes? Bring your favorite outdoor snowy sporting equipment and have traversing the trail at Camp Manitou-Lin!
Yacktracks, snowshoes, cross country skis, running shoes or hiking boots.  Got kids? Bring a sled and pull them down the trail.

Dress warm and come have fun!

Snow-covered woods, hot chocolate, s'mores, roaring fireplaces and snowshoeing are all offered at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin's Snowshoe Shuffle; the best of what winter in Michigan has to offer all in one place. If you are looking to work off a few holiday dinners, enjoy beautiful West Michigan or simply want to try something new and fun for the entire family, then the Snowshoe Shuffle is for you.

Located on the grounds of beautiful YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin, this 5K outdoor adventure race winds through 200 plus acres of pristine winter woodlands. All ages will are welcome to experience a day of outdoor activity and fun for the whole family. The mostly flat 5 kilometer course provides the perfect degree of difficulty for anyone looking to fulfill their desire for outdoor activity in the middle of winter.

After the race, participants are welcome to enjoy hot coco and other post-race refreshments in the warm and friendly confines of Camp Manitou-Lin's lodge.

This event's proceeds will benefit YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin, helping to make Camp experiences possible for all children.

No snow on the ground? No worries! Just bring your running shoes or hiking boots and prepare for a one-of-a-kind trail experience.
